Block

Within WordPress, the block editor is the most recent way of adding or editing pages and posts.
A block in WordPress is a single piece of content that makes up a page or post. Blocks can include:
Paragraphs, Headings, Images, Videos, Buttons, Quotes, Tables, Columns, Spaces, and Page breaks.
A block can also be a shortcode.
Blocks are the building blocks of a WordPress website. They allow users to:
  • Alter the page layout
  • Insert visual and interactive elements
  • Create rich layouts
  • Create interactive onboarding
  • Customize the layout of columns
  • Control the vertical position of blocks
  • Arrange elements horizontally
  • Insert invisible elements
  • Add Church Admin functionality securely.

Each function of the Church Admin Plugin that canbe shown publically has its own block, shortcode and Elementor widget depending on how you prefer to edit your website.

The WordPress block editor replaces the TinyMCE editor, which was used in previous versions of WordPress. The block editor makes it easier to design posts and pages by providing more flexibility and customization options. The Church Admin blocks are more user friendly than shortcodes as they have all the options as menu items in the sidebar andyou can instantly see how eachoptions changes the content shown.
