The Churchwide prayer feature lets you set a prayer focus for each day of the week that everyone sees in the My Prayer section of the Our Church app. It’s a simple way to lead your whole church in praying together — a different theme, ministry or need to pray for each day.
Finding the page
Go to the App section of Church Admin and open Churchwide prayer. You’ll see a title field followed by a box for each day of the week.
Setting a title
The Title is the heading shown above the prayers in the app — for example “Church prayer items”, “This week we’re praying for…”, or whatever suits your church. If you leave it blank, a default heading is used.
Adding a prayer for each day
There’s a box for each day, from Sunday through Saturday. Type whatever you’d like the church to pray for that day — a ministry, a mission partner, a group within the church, a need in your community, or a theme for reflection. App users then see the relevant day’s prayer when they open My Prayer.
You don’t have to fill in every day — leave any box blank if you’d rather not set a focus for that day. When you’ve finished, click Save and you’ll see a confirmation that your prayers have been updated.
Keeping it fresh
These prayers are set as a weekly cycle, so it’s worth coming back to update them regularly — whether that’s each week to reflect what’s coming up, or on a rolling theme. Refreshing them keeps the whole church praying together for what matters most in the life of your church right now.
