The Individual Attendance CSV exports a spreadsheet of per-person attendance records for a specific service or small group over a chosen date range. Useful for producing annual attendance reports, identifying patterns in who attends which service, or providing data for pastoral review.
Go to Church Admin → Attendance → Individual attendance CSV.
Choosing what to export
Which meeting
Select the service or small group you want to export attendance for from the dropdown. Services are listed with their name, frequency, and time — for example Sunday Morning on Weekly on Sunday at 10:30 — so you can tell them apart if you have multiple services. Small groups are listed with Small group — as a prefix followed by the group name.
Member type
Tick one or more member types to filter whose attendance records are included. For example tick Members only to see the attendance history of committed members, or tick all types to export everyone. At least one member type should be selected.
Start date and end date
Set the date range for the export. Only attendance records with a date falling within the selected range are included. A typical use would be a calendar year or a financial year — set both dates accordingly.
Downloading the CSV
Click Choose to generate and download the CSV file. It opens directly in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet application. Each row represents an individual attendance record showing the person’s name, the date, and the meeting they attended.
Common uses
- Annual attendance review — export a full year of attendance for a service and analyse patterns — who attends regularly, who has drifted, who only comes occasionally
- Pastoral follow-up preparation — export the past six months and sort by person to see at a glance how frequently each member has been attending before a pastoral conversation
- Small group health check — export attendance for a specific small group to review consistency of attendance across the group’s members
- Leadership reporting — produce data for eldership or leadership team reports on attendance trends
If the export is empty
If the downloaded file contains no data, check that individual attendance has actually been recorded for the selected meeting within the chosen date range. Individual attendance is separate from aggregate attendance — entering a headcount in Add Attendance does not create the per-person records this export draws from. See Add individual attendance.
