My Follow Up Tasks

⭐ Premium

My Follow Up Tasks shows the follow-up actions currently assigned to the logged-in user — their personal task list without the noise of tasks assigned to other team members. It’s the first place a team member should check when they log in to see what they need to do next.

Go to Church Admin → Follow Up → My follow up tasks.

What the list shows

Each row represents a follow-up task assigned to you and shows:

  • Person — the name of the person who needs following up
  • Action — the follow-up step to take, as defined in the funnel — for example Welcome visit or Invite to Alpha
  • Assigned date — when the task was assigned to you
  • Completion date — shown if the task has already been marked as complete; blank if still outstanding

Completing a task

When you have completed a follow-up action — made the visit, sent the invite, had the conversation — mark it as complete. You can do this either from this screen or by clicking the completion link in the email notification you received when the task was assigned. Once marked complete the task no longer appears in your outstanding list and the next step in the funnel becomes available for the person.

Front-end access for non-admin users

Team members who are not WordPress administrators can view and complete their own tasks without needing dashboard access, using the front-end shortcode on a members-only page:

You are not permitted to view this content

This is particularly useful for volunteer welcome team or visitation team members who don’t need full admin access but do need to manage their follow-up workload. See Members only content for how to set up a members-only page.
