The Delete all calendar events tool removes every event from your Church Admin calendar in one action. It’s a clean-slate tool — useful if you’ve imported the wrong calendar, you’re starting a new season fresh, or you’re setting up a site and want to clear out test events. Because it wipes everything, it should be used deliberately and rarely.
This cannot be undone
Deleting all calendar events is permanent. Every event is removed from the calendar with no way to recover them from within Church Admin. There’s no per-event undo and no trash to restore from, so only use this if you genuinely want to clear the entire calendar. If you have events you’d want back, make sure you can re-create or re-import them first — for example by keeping the original iCal file you imported from.
Deleting the calendar
Go to the Calendar tab and open Delete all calendar events. You’ll see a single confirmation button, Yes, delete all events. Clicking it removes every event immediately and shows a “Calendar deleted” message, along with a button to add a new event so you can start rebuilding straight away.
The button is the safeguard here — nothing is deleted until you click it — so if you’ve opened this page by mistake, simply navigate away and nothing changes.
Before you delete: consider the alternatives
If you only want to remove some events rather than everything, don’t use this tool — edit or delete individual events from the calendar instead. And if your aim is to tidy up an imported or duplicated calendar, it’s worth checking whether re-importing a corrected iCal file would serve you better than wiping everything and starting over.
