The App Sessions page shows you who is currently logged in to your Our Church app, when they last signed in, and which page they were last on. From here you can search for a particular person and log people out — individually or in bulk — when you need to.
Finding the App Sessions page
Go to the App section of Church Admin and open App users. You’ll see the App Sessions screen listing everyone with an active app session. This page is only available to administrators with app permissions.
What the list shows
Each row is one active app session. The columns are:
- User — the person’s name. If no name is on record for the session, this shows as (Unknown).
- Last Login — when they last signed in, shown in your site’s date and time format.
- Page Visited — the last app page they were on.
The list is sorted by Last Login, newest first, so the most recently active people are at the top. You can click the User, Last Login or Page Visited column headings to sort by that column instead. The list shows 20 sessions per page, with pagination controls if you have more.
Searching for a user
If your church has a lot of app users, use the Search Users box at the top of the table to find a specific person rather than scrolling through the whole list. Search matches against first name, last name, or full name — type a name and click Search Users to filter the results.
Logging users out
To end app sessions, tick the checkbox next to each person you want to log out, choose Logout Users from the bulk actions dropdown, and apply it. You can select as many people as you like — or use the header checkbox to select everyone on the page. When the log-out completes, a confirmation message tells you how many users were logged out.
Logging someone out ends their current app session — the next time they open the app they’ll be prompted to sign in again. It does not delete their account, their address list entry, or any of their details. This is useful if a member has lost or replaced their phone, or if you need to force people to re-authenticate.
