Two Sundays ago we had a group of Farsi speaking Christian refugees start attending our services. Another church had emailed to say they were being moved to our town and recommended Breeze Translate as a church focused translation app.
A quick signup at breezetranslate.com and we got a URL for people to browse to view the translation.
On Sunday, we plugged our mixer into the laptop and browsed to control.breezetranslate.com. We gave out the translation URL to our new Farsi speaking friends and others who have English as an additional language.
It instantly picked up the audio options and all I needed to do was click Start. We selected the default “phrase” transcription mode – which meant the lag is low and accuracy is high.

It works brilliantly!
I’d looked at a few options and most are super expensive.
Breeze seems to be the cheapest and works well, so I highly recommend it if you are welcoming people from other nations. We’ve ended up going for the mid-priced options as we needed 6 languages each Sunday we have been trialling it.
