Church Admin lets you record each person’s marital status, and the Marital status settings page controls the list of options available when you edit someone’s record. You can add your own statuses and edit or remove the ones you’ve added, so the list fits how your church describes people.
Finding the page
Go to Church Admin → Settings → Marital status. You’ll see a table listing the current statuses, each with Edit and Delete options.
Adding a status
Click the Add button at the top of the page, type the new status, and save it. It’s then available to choose whenever you add or edit a person.
Editing and deleting
Use the Edit link on any row to rename a status, or Delete to remove one you don’t use. Deleting asks you to confirm first, so you won’t remove one by accident.
Note that the very first status in the list — the default — can’t be edited or deleted; it has no Edit or Delete links. This is deliberate, so there’s always a fallback option for people whose marital status you haven’t set or don’t record.
