Sermon Social Posting

⭐ Premium

Sermon Social turns a sermon’s transcript into ready-to-use social media content — suggested Facebook posts, tweets you can post in one click, and discussion questions — without you having to write any of it yourself.

Where to find it

Go to Church Admin → Sermons. Each sermon in the list has its own Sermon Social button — click it to open this panel for that sermon.

Before you start

The sermon needs a transcript already saved against it — Sermon Social works from that text. If there’s no transcript yet, you’ll see a Need a transcript to process notice instead of any suggestions; add the transcript to the sermon first, then come back.

Note that the transcript is sent to Church Admin’s own service at churchadminplugin.com to generate the suggestions, so bear that in mind for anything particularly sensitive.

What you get

  • Suggested Facebook posts — a numbered list of post drafts you can copy and paste onto your church’s page
  • Tweets — draft tweets, each with a Click to tweet button that opens a pre-filled post ready to send on X/Twitter
  • Discussion questions — a set of application questions based on the sermon, useful for small groups or personal reflection

Adding discussion questions to the transcript

If discussion questions were generated, they appear in an editable text box underneath — tidy them up or add your own before saving. Click Add to transcript and they’re appended to the sermon’s transcript under an “Application Questions” heading, so they’re kept together with the sermon for future reference.
