Choose Modules

Church Admin is made up of many modules — People, Calendar, Rota, Giving, Groups and more — and not every church uses all of them. The Choose Modules page lets you decide which module tabs appear on your main Church Admin screen, so you can hide the ones you don’t need and keep your admin area tidy and focused.

Finding the page

Go to Church Admin → Settings → Choose Modules. You’ll see a list of every available module, each with a checkbox.

Showing and hiding modules

Each ticked module appears as a tab on your main Church Admin screen; each unticked one is hidden. Tick the modules you want to use and untick the ones you don’t, then click Save.

After saving you’ll see a confirmation message. Refresh the page to see the change reflected in the menu — the tabs update once the page reloads.

Hiding a module only removes its tab from view; it doesn’t delete any data. If you hide a module and later turn it back on, everything you’d previously entered is still there.

The available modules

Depending on your version and setup, the modules you can show or hide include:

  • People — your address list and member records.
  • Children — children’s records and check-in.
  • Groups — small groups.
  • Classes — classes and courses.
  • Ministries — ministry teams.
  • Rota — service and volunteer scheduling.
  • Calendar — events and bookings.
  • Services — service planning.
  • Sessions — sessions.
  • Attendance — attendance tracking.
  • Comms — email and SMS communication.
  • Giving — donations and giving records.
  • Media — sermons and media.
  • Facilities — rooms and resources.
  • Units — units.
  • Events — event ticketing.
  • Follow up — follow-up funnels for new people.
  • Spiritual gifts — spiritual gifts records.
  • Automations — automated actions.
  • Key dates — birthdays, anniversaries and other key dates.
  • Contact — contact form.
  • Support Church Admin — links to support the plugin.

If you enable a module elsewhere in the plugin (for example the Pastoral module in its own settings), it will also appear here to be shown or hidden.
