The Bulk Gift Aid screen lets you mark who in your church is a Gift Aid donor, all on one page. Rather than opening each person’s record to set their Gift Aid status individually, you can tick everyone who has completed a Gift Aid declaration in a single list and save them together.
Finding the page
Go to the Giving tab and open Bulk Gift Aid. You’ll see a list of all the adults in your address list, ordered alphabetically by surname, each with a checkbox.
Marking your Gift Aid donors
Tick everyone who is a Gift Aid donor and untick anyone who isn’t. The checkboxes show each person’s current Gift Aid status when the page loads, so you can see at a glance who’s already marked. When you’ve finished, click Save and you’ll see a “Gift Aid updated” confirmation.
Only tick people who have actually signed a Gift Aid declaration. HMRC requires a valid declaration from each donor before you can claim Gift Aid on their giving, so this list should reflect the declarations you hold on file.
Important: the whole list is saved
When you save, Church Admin first clears everyone’s Gift Aid status and then applies it to just the people you’ve ticked. This means the page is authoritative: anyone left unticked is set as not a Gift Aid donor. So make sure the list reflects exactly who your donors are before saving — don’t save with only some of them ticked expecting the rest to be left untouched.
Only adults are listed
The list shows adults only, since Gift Aid declarations are made by adult donors. If no adults are found in your directory, the page will tell you so.
