Added in a player shortcode in 2.5890 that just adds the player [church_admin type="player" file_id="#"] replace # with the file_id from the media page. I’ve not put in description though. That’s great, thanks

So found an issue where there is a video and an mp3 – that’s fixed for 2.6700
But mp3 only entries on your podcast will probably still have an invisible player because your theme gives them zero height at lines 508 and 510 – certainly in Chrome browserThanks Andy. Not sure what you mean by invisible? I can see the player fine

Just get rid of those in your divi-child theme and you will be fine!Hi Andy, not quite sure what you mean as everything is visible. I did uncheck the styles as you instructed and it just changed the appearance.
I looked a bit deeper and the problem seems to be that it references the facebook video url instead of the mp3 file
Here’s the html on a sermon without a video attachment:
audio class=”sermonmp3″ src=”https://praiseway.uk/wp-content/uploads/sermons/2020.03.01.sean.mcintyre.a-christian-attitude-to-suffering.mp3″ preload=”auto” controls=””>And the same html on a sermon that also has a video attachment:
audio class=”sermonmp3″ src=”https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fwatch%2F%3Fv%3D876202826177813&show_text=1&width=2002020-03-23-sundayword.mp3″ preload=”auto” controls=””>As you can see, it’s pulling in the facebook url instead of the mp3 file

It just wraps the URL in an iframe – so should work for anything really. Is the FB video set to world viewable?Last update fixed this, thanks

I think the latest WordPress killed that way of embedding videos. As this is urgent for us all, have patched it now and got it working v2.6200Thanks Andy, is this optimised for something like youtube? Seem to be getting only an empty frame for facebook video

ParticipantHi Andy, on my first attempt I think I just used ‘member’ and on the second two attempts I added the additional filter ‘Has cell phone’

Hi Sean,In order to mark people as active you can access the “People” menu and on the People page select any checkbox that applies to that person (Do not search for the person). In the resultant list at the bottom of the page you will note the 3rd column – “Active”. Clicking on the black circle with an “i” in it will toggle the state of the person between active and inactive.
I cannot speak to how this individual may have become inactive inadvertently.
Thanks for that

ParticipantThanks Andy, actually I’ve seen that. I literally just want to show the player & description without the predetermined layout.
seanmcint
ParticipantThanks, there’s not hundreds, so the first option looks good. Thanks
