Thank you so much!
Great News about the loggedin flag! I look forward to the update.
As far as the adult children at the same address, I appreciate the suggestion to move them to separate households. Unfortunately even after I moved them, only one of them still show up. It is not the end of the world, more of a minor irritation. Thank you for all your help!
Andy, thank you for the update! The map of our congregation works great now. The only issues I am having is that I cannot password protect the page by using loggedin=TRUE at the end of my shortcode. And if there are two different households in the same home (i.e. adult siblings who are living with parents because neither sibling is married), only one of the names show up on the map. Other than those things, the map works very well. It is good to get a birds eye view of where the congregation lives.
Thank you! Can’t fault a guy for being too safe.
Andy, based on your last answer I experimented with a few things on my site to see if I could find the culprit and I believe I found a way to work around the problem. One thing I cannot figure out though is how to include different member types on the same map. For example if I use the shortcode
church_admin_map member_type_id=”1,2″ zoom=”9″ small_group=”0″ loggedin=TRUE (I had to remove the brackets to get the shortcode to show up in this post)
only member types “1” will show up on the map. Is there a way to include more than one member type on a map?
That makes sense, Andy that the theme I am using is the problem. I am so sorry to cause you all this extra work, but I appreciate your diligence and willingness to to give such GREAT support! You are awesome!!!! Thank you so much!!!!
Thank you for the update. Unfortunately it still does not work.
Thank you for taking a look, Andy! I do use Premium WordPress themes produced by Themify. I am uncertain as to what themify builder is; all I know is that I must have it installed to use their themes. Here is a link to themify builder: https://themify.me/builder .
I am so sorry for causing you work. With all the different kinds of software out there I cannot imagine how challenging the life of a programmer must be. I am sure it requires the patience of Job.
I have no doubt it is operator problems on my part. . It is on our password protected page at: http://kotp.org/member-portal/ on the “Map of Congregation” tab.
Thank you for the shortcode! I tried it (inserting the member id # I wanted) but all I got was a blank page. Is there something I am missing?
Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, I am not sure I understand your answer; unless you are describing how to display a map with all the small groups in the church. If that is the case, what I am looking for something a little different.
What I am looking for is a shortcode that I can put on a password protected web page that automatically displays a map with all the Members of our church on it ( or whatever Member Types selected in the shortcode).
Thank you for your patience!
Thank you so much!
Thank you! Actually I put our api key in the settings of Church Admin and the maps under each family profile seems to work just fine. I do not know why it does not show up under the church directory???
I am sorry, I do not know what table prefixes are or how to check for permissions for DROP tables? Where might I look for this?
Hi! I have moved my web site from one hosting company to another and when I attempted to import my Church Admin database using the tool above, the database did not import. Is there something special that I need to do to get my information back?
