Hi Andy! I have a complicated question. Basically the database for our website got corrupted…the backup that we had for our site was corrupted…so we ended up deleting our database and starting all over with a new site. I do have a backup of our Church Admin file, but when I tried to “Restore DB backup” the process runs, but there is no information in Church Admin at the end of the process. I am not a computer programmer, but it appears that it is looking for our old website database (which no longer exists). I even tried installing the importer mentioned above and it did not work as well. Is there any way to reinstall the “sql.gz” file that I have?18th February 2020 at 6:39 pm in reply to: Creating Post to Send News Out Through App Generates E-mail #4501
Thank you, Andy! I will check that out. I figured it was something wrong on our end. I appreciate the help!
Thanks! Great idea!!!
Thank you, Andy! I believe that my question was not as clear as I intended. Under each person’s profile at the bottom of the page is a place to “Choose a Worpress account to associate” “or create a new WordPress User”. For members and regular attenders we have this filled in and a WordPress account associated with each person. We do have a “Members’ Only” section of our web site, but we only have members and regular attenders listed on it (with associated Word Press accounts) so they are password protected (as you described)
However, on visitor profiles, we do not have a WordPress account associate with it. So at the bottom of the page on each visitor profile there is nothing listed under “Choose a Worpress account to associate” “or create a new WordPress User”. Why this concerns me, is because my understanding is that if we do not have have a username filled in at this place in a person’s profile then their information is exposed to Google searches and such; leaving their personal information exposed. Is this correct? Do we have to have a WordPress account associated with each of our visitor profiles? If so, could we create one WordPress account (maybe “KOTP Visitors) and associate each visitor to that account?
Thank for your patience with my numerous questions.
Thank you, Andy! You are awesome and so on top of things! I appreciate all your work and I brag about your app to others all the time.
Andy, the plug-in updated automatically. I am assuming you had something to do with this. Thank you, so much!!!
Thank you so much!
I am so sorry. How frustrating to fix one thing just to have another break. I will be praying for wisdom for you as you work on this issue.
Thank you, Andy!
Hi Andy! I noticed that one can import their own Bible Reading program into the app in the form of an excel file. Is there any certain format that the excel file has to be in? (i.e. Do I have to include headers and if so which ones?) Is there a sample excel file that I could use to put our information into? Thanks!
Will do! Thank you!16th July 2018 at 6:34 pm in reply to: Changing Member Type for Family Rather than Individuals #4008

Thank you so much! I just installed the update and everything works GREAT now!!!!
Hi Andy! The update did fix the issue with the order that the children are listed, however I still get multiple entries for each family. Single people are listed only once, but for families I get an entry for the number of people in the house. So for my family “Franks, R” shows up three times in the online directory. Like I said earlier this is a new development; it did not use to do that.
