    Hi Andy,

    Thanks for the fab support. You were right… Just one instance on the page fixed the issue.

    An additional for thought though… would it be possible to show short excerpts of the events for the day ?? as the calendar now looks odd with more than say 5 events on it. I guess the other way around this is changing the description for each event to just be a short snappy description??

    Yes… I’ve tried it on my test site and that works ok. I’m going back now to delete original page and try again with just the shortcode on the page.

    Hi Andy,
    I’m still getting occasional members not showing up in the directory. If I click on people, the number of members is correct and if I edit the specific person they are showing as a member but not showing in the directory.

    The fix I’ve found is simply to edit the ‘missing’ person, make no changes and simply press save and then the directory shows as correct.

    It’s not a case of refreshing the directory on the front end, that doesn’t help.

    Please help, this is driving me nuts! – Thank you.

    If it helps… I have the faulty condition now with a missing member. What can I send you that might help? / Logon??

    Hi Gavin,
    We use WP Mail SMTP, just the free version. It’s a little bit of a faff to setup, but once setup it works well with any comms being sent out from your website. We use the gmail setup.

    Hi Andy,
    I’m still getting random members not showing up in the directory?!?!

    I’ve reset the version as you’ve suggested but that doesn’t help. The only thing that fixes it is manually going into every member setting and scrolling down to member type and re-selecting ‘member’ and saving. It doesn’t seem to follow any pattern either.

    Often I only find out when someone complains their listing is not in the directory.

    Any other suggestions?

    Hi Andy,

    I’ve had a look through the user guide I downloaded and also searched through the shortcodes list, BUT I can’t find the shortcode to add for vounteers to a ministry?

    I’ve created a list of ministries and ticked the ‘allow online volunteers’ but can see how to add it??

    Apologies if I’m being a numpty here!
