Andy MoyleKeymaster
I’ve got a feeling the apostrophe in Diane’s group is causing the problem – I’ll work on a fix, but for now can alter the event title – please delete that whole word (not just the apostrophe!) and re-enter without an apostrophe – there’s an escaping issue! Let me know when you have done it and if that is a temporary fix while I get apostrophes to not break the mouseover!
Andy MoyleKeymasterCould you post the url of the site please, what browser the problem occurs with and what version of the plugin you are using!
It’s probably an escaping issue – if there is a ‘ or ” in the details… Can find out for sure when I have a look.
Andy MoyleKeymasterNot yet – but it is a nice idea – will work on it for a future version.
Andy MoyleKeymasterBulk Add Service Link
Andy MoyleKeymasterThinking about integrating users in a later version, but for now – do you have your address list in a electronic form? It can then be converted and bulk added.
If you are not a techie I could quote you – should take up to an hour for a spreadsheet. Please get in touch with the contact form…
If you are techie enough, you are looking to get your data into a comma separated form and then create an sql statement to use in phpmyadmin on your webhost of the form
Create your small groups first using the plugin and print them out using phpmyadmin so you know the smallgroup_id. Then the address statement needs to look a bit like…
INSERT INTO `wp_church_admin_directory` (`address_line1`, `address_line2`, `city`, `state`, `zipcode`, `homephone`, `cellphone`, `first_name`, `last_name`, `children`, `email`, `email2`, `website`, `small_group`) VALUES(‘1 Street’,’Area’,’My City’,’My State’,’Postalcode’,’01234 567890′,’0789012345′,’John & Jane’,’Doe’,’a@b.com’,’b@c.com’,’www.web.com’,’1′) and then a comma before the next set of bracketed values… If you want a value to be blank use NULL.Andy MoyleKeymasterI managed to introduce a bug! – Times will show up again as a mouseover tooltip in 0.32.8 and you can set the format in WordPress’ global settings
Andy MoyleKeymasterIt’d would be worth adding an option to choose how time is displayed. Will add to the to do list and sort agenda view sorting!
Andy MoyleKeymasterI’m working on that for a new version which will be released for beta testers pretty soon!
Andy MoyleKeymasterIt’s A4 – standard in most of the world! I’ll add Letter size as an option soon. Meanwhile Adobe PDF reader can resize documents when printing
Andy MoyleKeymasterAndy MoyleKeymasterHave you clicked “Refresh PDF” in the main directory list page – a 404 error would indicate the pdfs haven’t been created yet.
Once you have clicked refresh pdf a drop down menu will appear too!
Andy MoyleKeymasterThanks for the thoughts. I am working on a new version that changes the way people are stored. So a family would be made up of a group of individuals, each of which can have a ministry role (or not!). That will mean a lot of your requests suddenly become possible!
Hang with it – it’s still getting programmed and then we will get a few folks to beta test it before it goes public!
Andy MoyleKeymasterAndy MoyleKeymasterThe 20:20 theme has a pretty thin content area.
I’m just updating the plugin to version 0.32.5 which will allow you to set the calendar width – 630 looks good in 20:20 with the sidebar.
Click “Settings” to change it from the default 700.Andy MoyleKeymasterYes there are two ways!
Just put [church_admin type=calendar] in a post or page for a month to view table style or [church_admin type=calendar-list] for a month to view agenda style -
