Hi Mark,
You can add “classes” to the filter boxes to send emails in Settings>Choose Filters
I’ll add functionality for a class leader to be able to send to the class soon.

Bible readings has been a feature for a long time. Originally it was just a CSV upload for the app. In recent years it uses the Bible Readings custom post.
The default is the Bible In One Year plan (used by Nicky Gumbel’s BiOY app – the Alpha course people)
You can create your own plans, either by creating posts with notes in Bible Reading post type or by uploading a CSV. The spreadsheet works by a row per day. And a column per Bible Reading.

Can you take a look at the debug log when you try please and let me know. Sounds odd to me unless the Lord want you to have a day off!!!

The Address list section currently has “Add someone” for admins, that will get the first person in.
I’ll add individual attendance over the next week – need to make that work on phone screens too!

I can’t break it! It works for me – but I have set up new automated rota emails for the next day, each time this thread is added to and the email dutifully comes the next day.
Please enable the debug log in settings – clear it the day before a scheduled email should go out (else it could be huge!) You should see debug data starting with “Cron email of rota fired” when it fires.
Check that people who should get the email have the option to receive schedule reminders.
The plugin is privacy first and people often switch that off (default initially!)
For some reason the emails notifying me didn’t come through!
Best thing to do is to make the glennandrews user a site admin in WordPress user settings. Then your household login has all the privileges to get everything else set up.There is indeed a not logged in view of the app – ie they can’t see any personal data.
Then once logged in (and the user needs to be connected to a directory entry), they get more. In the normal run of things as you add people to the directory and create users that tieing together is automatic. It’s just an issue for people who already had logins who need to connect to a directory entry.For main plugin functions it is best to use the app generated menu items for them – eg the rota, rather than creating an app content page and adding a shortcode. Reason is the technology under the hood is slightly different.
Shortcodes have web links to do tasks, which when clicked would take the user to a web browser outside the app, where they would need to login and thats annoying. App generated content uses javascript to internally link instead, keeping people in the app with a persistent login. Also stops what you see in that screenshot where you have two login forms on a page.
If you login to the website and head to Church Admin, then App, then menu, you can see all the app generated menu items. Check and uncheck what you want. You can also show items to non-logged in users and theyw ill get a login form.
Head of Household will always be first. Otherwise it works for me.
It uses AJAX technology so any error in the console from other plugins will stop it working.
Right Click, Inspect Console, Console – look for red bits!
