That’s a bit bizarre.
Test email function tests all the email settings on a setup. If that’s working then it’s something wrong elsewhere.
Its working okay on my test server for front end register and booking a test event.
In wp-config.php add define(‘CA_DEBUG’,TRUE); to turn on full debug logging if not already and check server error logs to see if anything is going wrong.
Andy MoyleKeymasterI’ll add a setting to turn it off to next update
9th November 2024 at 3:34 pm in reply to: minor bugs/quirks on ticketed event registration form #10151Andy MoyleKeymasterWorking on these!
Andy MoyleKeymasterI’ll add that to the todo list!
Andy MoyleKeymasterA month ago I separated the free version from the premium version, to align with WordPress plugin rules. the free one is stored on wordpress’ plugin repository and the premium on my server. Once upgraded, further updates happen as normal (just from my server)
So there’s an “upgrade” process to switch from free back to premium (from v5.0.0) onwards.
For the app to work you need to be on the Premium Version, which is currently at 5.0.16.
If you are using 5.0.4 you may well be using the “free” version. On the church admin main page, there is a premium module – if you click premium install, that will switch you over to the new premium version.
If you are having trouble, please get in touch via support@churchadminplugin.com and I can help you further. Please let me know the URL of the church when you do.
I’m in Holland this week – so Central Europe timezone, if my replies are delayed!Andy MoyleKeymasterYou can have my theme – download here

support@churchadminplugin.com28th August 2024 at 10:25 am in reply to: Fatal error when directory permissions do not allow editing uploads/sermons #10066Andy MoyleKeymasterWill make it fail more graciously.
The “security” plugin wil cause other issues like uploading images if it locks down the uploads dirSucuri allows you to block executable files in that directory, which is more what is needed.
Andy MoyleKeymasterHi Vicki,
The Register block or shortcode is the right one.
When a user goes to a page with that on….1) If they are not logged in they will be asked for an email address to start the login/register process
2) If the email is recognised, they get a login form
3) If the email is not recognised, they get a register form
4) If they are already logged in and in the directory – they will get a page like your screenshot (colours are way different to default!)
Hope that helps.
Your theme style sheet has made it look a little weird though colour wise and no borders.Andy MoyleKeymasterOh. It was meant to be clever working it out. Can you let me know the colour codes that are wrong and I can adjust the tipping point for a colour being dark/light.
Will also check why changes not savingAndy MoyleKeymasterAre you still getting this issue – I have Elementor now on a test site with no problems!
Andy MoyleKeymasterHii Richard,
I’m adding the extra message text as a setting in v4.4.12Andy MoyleKeymasterHi Mark,
With 4.3.6 I’m adding the 24hr security code to email link, so you get 24hrs to click the link before it expires.
