    Had a chance to look at this now Andy – thank you. I can’t quite work out if the behaviour I’m seeing is intentional or not: a two-member household where the two members are of different member_type_ids. If a shortcode is used that includes one of them, then they are both listed even though one of them doesn’t have a matching member_type_id. Does that make sense?

    Yes it does make sense and it is deliberate…
    We often have a wife that comes regularly and husband that is irregular. On the address list they both appear because they are in the same household (even if I’m using just the regular member_type_id) – which causes less offence, because the address list is viewable by anyone with a password!

    We use the diff member types of husband/wife for targeted email/sms comms!
