    Hi,

I am running WP 3.81. I have tried to install the church-admin plugin. Initially I saw something about some extra characters, but the plugin activated OK and things seemed to be working. However, as I went along, I was having problems and decided I should try and reinstall.

I have deactivated and deleted the files. I have been through with SSH and ensured all the files have gone. I have manually deleted all the files from the database. When I come to reinstall though, the database tables are not created.

Any suggestions or assistance would be appreciated.

On another note, could you explain how rotas should work? Do you define the jobs that need doing and it pulls the people with a matching ministry automatically? In past posts there were comments about rotas and ministries being tied together. Has there been a chance to do that yet?

    Thanks,

    Hugh

I’ll check what issues are happening with a fresh install of v0.5842
The tables won’t install on a reinstall because the “church_admin_version” option is set in the wp_options table.

Firstly you need to have people in the directory
Then you can set up some rota jobs – ministries aren’t connected yet, but there is autocomplete of names from the directory. Hope that helps.

    Hi Andy,

thanks for taking the time to reply. I removed the church_admin% rows from the wp_options table and I was able to reinstall the module.
