    Hello Andy,
I’m considering moving some of my mailings to MailPoet (away from MailChimp). Have you given any thought to creating a bridge to this like you have with MailChimp?

Currently, I’m using the WP native email system for my emails (because we’re only getting started) and my blog posts are already being sent via MailChimp (historic arrangement from before I started using your excellent plugin). But I would like to improve both targeting, simplicity and consistency of style. I think MailPoet might be good for that…

    Thank you,
    Mark

I use MailPoet for a general mailing list, and it works very well. I especially like the close integration with WordPress that allows me to have automatic post notification emails go through MailPoet. I have not explored switching to Church Admin for post notifications because this setup works well for all involved.

I also have the MailPoet plugin set to override WordPress mail functions and instead send mail through the MailPoet Sending Service. My Church Admin emails are being sent this way. This has some limitations over the header of the email (specifically, the from address and reply-to address are not changeable), but it has been working for our purposes.

Thanks @kgourlay. That’s interesting to know. I use Mailpoet on another site and, like you, appreciate the simplicity of the WordPress integration. I might explore this further along the lines you have suggested.
