Hello. We are rolling out wordpress user accounts to our members to allow them to edit their households. However, we are now getting a “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” message when a subscriber tries to update their info. What wordpress role should member accounts have?
Best to have a page with [church_admin_register] on it, the address list edit links will automatically go to that and then their role/level doesn’t matter and “normal” people are not in the back end even at a subscriber level.
You are exactly right! Once we determined that we would import our users rather than having them register themselves, I changed the [church_admin_register] page to “Draft” status. That is what broke our editing functionality. I really appreciate your time.
