    Hi Andy,

Just implementing your new awesome Embedding shortcode. Much to my suprise when I add the Shortcode in I get an Addressbook instead of the YouTube Stream. We have been livestreaming for a few months and I can do a basic embed but your Embed code with comments would be really great.

This is the full short code:
    [church_admin type=”livestream” url=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/anoGOl0wfXk” comments_title=”Join in”]

The URL works on it’s own.

    thanks
    Gavin

Gavin you are ahead of us!
Any tips to improve on my page https://www.churchadminplugin.com/tutorials/help-we-have-to-livestream-during-the-pandemic/

I forgot to add the file that handles the livestreaming comments to the repository. Done now. When testing though it overloaded my server when checking every 1sec so I have slowed it down to once every 3 s to update the comments

I really believe we were led by God. Two of us started out trying to assist a couple of congregation members who have poor eyesight. We started setting up Video relaying and then realised the step on towards streaming was very simple. So we began. The other guy got really keen to get going and as a result we now have a pretty nice setup. Essentially following your same path. Cameras into OBS. We have a number of cameras and we also take a feed from our Presentation Software. Of course that “number of feeds” requires a number of inputs. We use a Blackmagic HDMI, 4 input card and a Blackmagic 4 input SDI card. Our cameras are a mix of the two. That starts to get expensive, but we were blessed with both the cards and a nice PC to run it.

A nice little tip we just introduced two weeks ago is a lower third using https://hologfx.io/, They do a single Widget for free and it plugs neatly into OBS and looks super professional.

Thanks for all that you are doing.

    God Bless

Am I missing something? I haven’t seen the update come in as yet.

I definitely have something wrong. I have updated a couple of times since and I still get an address list Confused

Stumped – just downloaded off WordPress and the files are there – should work with type=”live-stream” or type=”livestream” ;-)
