    Version: 4.0.32

I send via SendGrid using the SMTPserver for bulk. But system is always trying to use sender mail ever since version 4.0.30.

Communications->SMTP Settings Save is not working.

The system saves the preferences as sendermail every time.

***** Please restore the ability to send via smtpserver. Do not force us to use mailersend. *****

Version 4.1.3. – This is still a problem. I was forced to setup mailersend so we could send out our week bulletin, but mailersend was failing with errors with only about 100 emails. We have to do it in small batches to get out all the emails.

Also, when we go to try to save the email options to be smtpserver, the system reverts the setting back to mailersend every time.

Version 4.1.6 – this is still a problem. I deleted my Mailersend API key so that I could send email via SENDGRID. ( I would use mailersend, but we get an error if the email list is more than 30 emails).

But when I go send email, I get this error: Mailersend API token missing

My have specified smtpserver as how I want to send bulk email, so why is it trying to use mailersend ?

Is it still an issue? – I think earlier versions weren’t deleting the api key if the field was empty. And therefore it was sticking to Mailersend. The code in 4.1.10 definitely removes it if the field is empty allowing a change of send option.

I’m not sure if Richard has had any success, but we have version 4.1.13 and this is an issue for us.
