We are one church but meet in two different buildings on a Sunday. Three services are held in the morning and one in the evening. Our Sunday Services rota has 17 columns and is something of a behemoth. In addition to the ability to print the rota (which, because of its size, is not practical in our case) it would be great to have the option to export it to Excel or .csv. Even better would be an option to bulk import from either of the sources.

CSV export just done v0.4.7.1 – let me know how it works with multiple services – didn’t get a chance to test that. It should throw up a form if service_id is not specified in the url and there is more than one service rota.
Import is a bit more complicated to do!
Ooooo !! Nearly there. It works fine except for one slight detail. There is no column heading for the date of the record and, probably as a result, all the other column headings have shifted one column to the left. Apart from that, just what the doctor ordered.
Will it be possible to call this functionality from a page using shortcodes? Similarly, for rota entry and editing.

Oops, I’ve fixed the CSV – just uploading 0.4.7.2 now with that.
The CSV could be a link just like the pdf one on the front end, but not a shortcode as it is a direct download.I wouldn’t do shortcodes to allow front end editing – security nightmare. But you can however change the user level (from teh default administrator to say author) for various church-admin functions in the settings area if you wanted to allow wider access to rota editing for example.
