    1. Hi, we user Power Church in our church office for almost all these functions however presently there are 24 separate lists of volunteers to manage before every service. What we need is the ability to keep the 24 lists online in our secure members site so that the volunteers themselves or the coordinator of each of these list can keep them updated (sickness, travel, work etc.) but the office admin or the volunteers themselves could so a query showing them when they are on duty for which ever list by day (particular service date), by month, by quarter, by semi-annual, by annual and these could then be either printed locally perhaps converted to a PDF for printing. Or perhaps the resulting report could be exported in a format that then could be imported into Power Church.

Now the question will the “rota” feature in “church_admin” do this? Or, if not can you make any suggestions?

    2. We are in Canada so using a UK service for SMS sounds a tad silly to us and I’d guess expensive. Would it be possible for us to make use of a domestic SMS carrier?

Thank you very much in advance.

    Cheers,
Webmaster and church member of http://ctkac.ca

    1) The rota management allows rota tasks to be set up, so you could have 24 rota jobs and then for each date fill them with as many people as you like. The shortcode for displaying the rota can be put on any page or post within wordpress, so could be user access only. The pdf shows the next quarter. I never heard of power church, so couldn’t comment on how to export to it!

    2) Bulksms.co.uk is an international company- my plugin uses their api. If you wanted to use a local sms gateway and their api – you would need to get the sms.php file recoded for that company’s api.
