Hi Andy,
Still working on getting website for my church updated to include the Church Admin Plugin but coming across a number of issues for me …
As I said on post added to support request Form and Function I notice you have added the ability to log prayer requests via “all prayer requests” menu option which is helpful addition as not all people have a smartphone and hence cannot us your phone app to do so only issue is I cannot see how to update its layout at all over and above what I can do to the standard archive page the ability to do this via a short code would also be very helpful.
The other thing which I think needs urgent attention is having displayed the list of prayer requests if you click on an individual request to see whole message rather than the default snippet the page changes to standard single post and all the info under recent posts comments, archives etc go to standard posts not prayer request post types.
Not sure if this has been reported before but would appreciate your comments and if you would be prepared to get this fixed for us even if you needed to make a paid for customization specifically for us.
Regards
Alan7th September 2018 at 4:32 pm #4027Andy MoyleKeymasterI’ve deliberately not created a template for the Prayer Request custom post type as that normal goes with themes not plugins and everyone will have different requirements – so WordPress will default to displaying the archive and single prayer requests using the default post archive and single post templates.
If you want them to look different the simplest way is to create a child theme with the two new templates in it and then WordPress using your theme as normal with the new templates for Prayer Requests. Happy to help with that, but would need to charge!
You can also style the form at the same time!all the info under recent posts comments, archives etc go to standard posts not prayer request post types.
Is that widgets that you have active or do you mean meta data?8th September 2018 at 2:15 pm #4028365sussexMemberHi Andy,
Thanks for coming back to me I appreciate your comments re themes handling post display but not all themes are equal as to what they do out the box so feel a prayer request template would be a useful addition.
Re the all info etc point I am talking about default metadata that display in the sidebar I feel it should at refer to prayer type if the individual post is a displaying a prayer type rather than as currently to standard posts.

Could you email me a screenshot please? support at churchadminplugin.com
Thanks13th September 2018 at 5:04 pm #4030365sussexMemberI am using X theme from themco which unfortunately has no archive template out of the box so uses index.php I will email you the screenshot in a few minutes.
One other thing I am using recaptcha from google for login screens and unfortunatley your login screen which gets thrown up by the plugin does not include recaptcha fields so cannot login from it can we either add functionality for recaptcha fields to be added or remove altogether your login fields and force user to use login from top of screen
my site is currently sitting @ http://newsite.highdownchurch.org.uk/ and my prayer archive page using toolset to create archive template is menued as toolsetdemo
13th September 2018 at 9:19 pm #4031Andy MoyleKeymasterindex.php is the default archive template!
Is it adjustable? Looks like your other pages are set so they only use a central section of the screen for the content, whereas “All prayer requests” uses the index.php and fills the whole width. It claims to be the best theme of 2018!, so it should be adjustable Which I guess you have done for “Tool set demo”My plugin uses the standard WordPress function wp_login() function whenever it wants a logged in user. You’ll need to ask for support from Theme My Login as to why wp_login() in a plugin won’t work anymore! A plugin that hacks the login should hack normal use of the login form in plugins and themes!!!
On the “tool set demo” page you can set a message to appear for the login form.
The next update will turn “Recent Posts” widget into “Recent Prayer Requests” on the archive page and similarly the Bible Readings if and when you use it. And change comments widget to be comments on those post types when on the post type archive.

Thanks for your prompt reply… Will pursue with theme my login as you suggest.
17th September 2018 at 11:10 am #4034365sussexMemberMorning Andy,
I am not sure I agree with you as even with the Theme My Login plugin deactivated I am unable to login via your login prompt at head of All prayer requests as it does not include the Google ReCaptcha field which requires a tick, as it stands I get the following error.
ERROR: Google reCAPTCHA verification failed. Do you have JavaScript enabled?
« Back
I get the recaptcha field on standard wp-login.php prompt whether the theme my login plugin is enabled or not but don’t get it on the login prompt at head of all prayer requests either way.
Can you take another look
18th September 2018 at 1:42 pm #4038Andy MoyleKeymasterEmailed you!
It was another plugin that was adding the reCaptcha badly – “Simple Google reCaptcha” – fixed on your site now -
