    Hi Andy

    I hit automatic install on the latest update to Church Admin last night and it took ages to give me back control of our site.

    I was on the point of calling our support, but then it recovered with a “Maintenance in progress” type of message.

    However, it then reported an unsuccessful attempt to install and I haven’t dared try it again so far.

    Are you aware of any issues with any other subscribers?

    Not yet – it’s worked well on 3 sites I control. I’ve checked the updated files, they are all saved with the correct format and there are no errors. So I don’t know no what is wrong.

    I’ve just finished translating it for Americans who use “Schedule” instead of “Rota” so will upload 0.5941 later today.

    You’ll need to make sure define(‘WPLANG’,’en_GB’); is set in wp-config.php to default to the UK English.

    Must have just been a duff install try! Phew – I get worried after that last time when I could update and some hosts couldn’t
