ParticipantHi Andy,
Are there any shortcode attributes to control what fields are displayed? It would be useful to have a view that is simpler:
Something like:
[Title]
[By] on [title]
If it is part of a series then show it, otherwise not.16th January 2017 at 7:06 pm #3635Andy Moyle
KeymasterDead easy!
On the media tab – goto the “iTunes Compatible RSS Settings” button and the templates are there. Should be fairly self-explanatory!17th January 2017 at 6:17 pm #3638Gavin
ParticipantWONDERFUL – Thanks again.

ParticipantOnce again, I stand amazed (so to speak
) at your plugin. Just started going over the podcast section and it is great! Being able to search by pastor and sermon series is a standout feature. Again, just one formatting quirk. The individual listings were so close they were almost touching, so I added 30px margin to the bottom of each entry to give them a little breathing room. Is this standard or is it just the case with the template I am using?

ParticipantHow about when searching by Pastor or Series name, you add a title above the results that is what you searched for, maybe a an H2 or H3… that way you can see the Pastor’s name or Series large at the top? And how is the played: times calculated? Playing the poscast from start to finish?

KeymasterGood idea. The played times increments everytime the play button is clicked/touched, so it’s a low-tech flattering count! You can remove it by editing the template

ParticipantIt seems as though the pastor search has this now, but the series search does not. Am I right? Otherwise, great job. In the meantime, I have a question regarding permissions. What if I had a series I wanted only subscribers to have access to? It would be a shame to have to use something else to manage those. Can we have a check box that allows you to make a series private?

KeymasterThere’s a logged in checkbox for individual sermons currently

ParticipantWould be nice to just hide the entire series… but that will certainly do the trick for the moment. In other news… I just noticed when performing a search for podcasts where the result is empty, you do not redisplay the filter at the top so the user can try selecting something else. As always, prompt, excellent work!

KeymasterI’ll get them in for next update
