    Hello!

I was working with some audio the other night and noticed if I move the audio slider while the audio is playing, it automatically adds to the play count. So, for example, if I’m listening to a sermon and I want to back it up and hear the last 5 seconds again, that’s added as an additional play. If I heard the first part of the sermon already and I want to skip to the end of the sermon, that counts as a play when I hit the play button, and another when I slide the slider forward, for a total of two plays.

You can view this problem at: https://www.parkervillechurch.org/the-lords-supper/. It occurs on all the sermon pages, but I’m trying to contain the analytic inflation to a single sermon. šŸ™‚

    Hi Stacey
Oh that is depressing – not as many listens!

Currently the “event” a count triggers on “is playing” – so it’s triggering every time you click on the play button.
The easiest way is to only count a play once for that browser – but it’ll still count even a short play.
The next version will have that in.
