Pictures cropped in pdf directory

    In the online directory, the pictures appear uncropped. In the pdf directory, the pictures are cropped to square, so the horizontal pictures are getting lopped off. Any way to change that? Thanks.

    I never got a reply to this but want to bring it up again. We have older folks who don’t go online much and really want a printed directory. But the little square pictures in the pdf are a problem. We have some large families—one with 9 kids, one with 7, and others with 6—and it’s hard to take a square picture of them! Any help appreciated.

    I’ll change it to a better aspect ratio ;-)

    Thank you for doing that! The website is perfect, but the pdf generated now gets stretched instead of cropped. Since we’re a relatively small church I don’t mind uploading new pictures to your exact aspect ratio but wanted to see if you have any other ideas before I do.

    Have you set PDF paper size in settings – most of the world uses A4! It wouldn’t really be noticeable for text only, but images would look weird. They are 300×200 which is WordPress’ standard medium size. Most cameras do 6:4 ratio, so I’m guessing it the PDF paper size that’s causing the stretch
