Can’t remember if I asked this before ;-) So excuse me if I did.

Would it be possible to add an extra field to the directory for names? In the Neterlaands we like to make thing complex, you know ;-) .Many dutch names are made of 3 parts, namely First name(s), Prefixes, Last names.

Take for example the name John van der Meer.
First name is John. The last name is Meer. van der are prefixes which we usually do NOT use when sorting names.

So when a list is sorted on last name, we will try to find this guy with “M” and not under “V’

To make thing more complicated, we DO use prefixes + lastname in (for example) a salutation.

So A typical record on an addresslist would be:
Last name, prefixes, first name, Initials, adress, etc…
Meer, van der, John, J.,Somethingstreet, etc…

But the salutation would be: Dear mr. Van der Meer

Also different in our country is the use of postalcodes.
The regular format of an address over here is:
    Name
    Street + Number
    Postalcode + City
    Country

Can I alter this myself without breaking things up with the next update?

Could be just a setting which lets the user use dutch format or international format.

    Cheers, Eric

    Hi Eric,
v0.557 should help with prefixes for names
Addresses are now entered as one line, so international, each comma triggers a new line on output

When I looked at your database you have used “member type” for ministries like worship, kids work etc.

The plugin is designed for ministries to be under ministries and member types to be things like visitors, regular attenders, members so you can invite all your visitors back at Easter etc…
