I’m having difficulty with the web version of the media player, and in particular the right hand side of the player (user interface):
- The search, choose series, choose speaker and newest/oldest first items all respond to clicks and can be changed, but changing them has no effect.
- The media that is shown in the list on the right hand side of the player will not play. I can’t select them at all.
I can play the one sermon which comes up on the left hand side of the player (the player itself).
Couldn’t find it on your lovely website to see what is wrong.
It all works fine, IF there are no other Javascript errors on the page.
If you can recreate the page with the shortcode or block and post the url here I can see what is wrong for you.
Or if you right click on the page and then inspect, you will see any errors in red – copy and paste them and it will give the clues!Thanks Andy,
I can’t see anything in red within the code. On the “Console view” there’s one error: it says, “Unchecked runtime.lastError: The message port closed before a response was received.” Does this help diagnosis?

It makes no difference whether the player is created with the shortcode or the Gutenberg block.
