Logging Attendance

I would like to list my full member directory (Individual names & photos) (scrolling or paginated) under a chosen service date and be able to mark them present via a simple checkbox. I am looking for a quick and easy way to record members present at weekly services into my database for future reference and action. Is there a way to do that with your current plugin or does it require additional development? I saw an old blog asking a similar question about recording attendance and your reply seemed to indicate you were working on a solution.
