Hi! I had to reset my WordPress website by resetting the database so I downloaded a back up of my Church Admin plugin before doing so. I now have a fresh website and would like to import the Church Admin database that I downloaded. How do I do this?

    Hi there,
I deliberately didn’t put an importer in the plugin itself, because any plugin that allows an upload to change the database is a hacker target!
So there is an importer plugin at https://www.churchadminplugin.com/wp-content/uploads/church-admin-importer.zip

You can use it to import your backup – then deactivate and delete for safety!

Hi! I have moved my web site from one hosting company to another and when I attempted to import my Church Admin database using the tool above, the database did not import. Is there something special that I need to do to get my information back?

Do you have the same table prefix?
Does your new company database user have permissions to DROP tables?

I am sorry, I do not know what table prefixes are or how to check for permissions for DROP tables? Where might I look for this?

I take it your host set up a wordpress install for you.
Could you send me the original backup and a backup of the fresh install with your new hosting company and I will check for you and adjust if necessary.
