I’ve tried to install church-admin on a newly updated WordPress install (3.0.4) but I get the following error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’ in /home/wells/public_html/boyinthebands/wp-content/plugins/church-admin/includes/install.php on line 130

I was hopeful that 0.31.4 would make the difference — I had been trying the prior version — but this throws the same error.

Anyone else getting this still, and — more importantly — is there a fix?

It looks like a good tool — thanks for writing it — but I need to get over this hurdle.

I’m pleased to say that 0.32.1 has ironed out that install issue – I’ve just added to a live test site (3.0.5) and it worked fine.

    Hope you find it useful!

Thanks so much — will install 0.32.1 and report back.

It threw another error — I didn’t record it but it referred to fpdf.php. Changed /cache/ permissions to 777 and it worked. thanks.

    Glad it works.

That is strange! WordPress normally installs plugins without the dreaded permissions issues. My host would block 777 out of hand as too open! It’s 755 on mine.

    Enjoy the plugin
