When you edit a child the person type says “adult”, it’s not remembering that it should be child.
Also, when you add a household i would like it if the required email was for person #1 only, not everyone as children don’t always have emails. Can you fix these?
14th August 2017 at 12:58 pm #3787Andy MoyleKeymasterI’m away until 24th August. Will fix then. You can safely use the same email for all the household. They won’t get duplicate emails
16th August 2017 at 4:37 am #3788jamesGuestOk thanks, Andy.
I would as like to help design the UI for this plugin, if you’re interested. (I am a web/UI designer in Australia)16th August 2017 at 12:23 pm #3789james182MemberAlso the sex field isn’t saving “female” option only male
16th August 2017 at 2:46 pm #3790Andy MoyleKeymasterFew bugs crept in with last update. It was a bit silly of me to release and then go on holiday.
Would be interested in some help. Especially theregister shortcode/add new household and calendar display.
The new calendar display doesn’t work well on some themes, but plays nicely with bootstrap.
Both could do with using Ajax for better UX
Happier coding than designing.
Can find the GitHub for playing when i get back to the UK or better we can branch off WordPress repository18th August 2017 at 2:04 pm #3791james182Memberyou can email me for further information, as i have some good ideas for design as i prefer to design then code.

When you edit a Female entry it defaults to Male in the Gender box and if you don’t change it back to Female there becomes a gender change. Also just found that “Person Type” behaves similar manor in that it defaults back to Adult and you have to change it back.
Also just found that “Site” defaults to the first site but after an edit returns a blank field

9th October 2017 at 8:42 pm #3828KevinGuestI am trying to add new people, but the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the page won’t work – it appears overlaid with the message ‘Thank you for creating with WordPress’, which makes it impossible to click on.
It must have worked at some point, because I have people I have added previously…
Any ideas?
9th October 2017 at 11:04 pm #3829Andy MoyleKeymasterWhat version are you on and what exactly where you doing “Add new household”?
All edit people screens working fine for me in 1.1600 – edit people, add people, add new household10th October 2017 at 1:17 am #3830kslingsbyMemberI am on 1.1600, on WP 4.8.2 running Exodus theme.
I just click on People tab, then ‘Add a Household’[edit] Sorry, I think this is a more general problem, as (for example) on All Posts, the ‘Bulk Actions’ button at the bottom of the list is hard to click on, again because it is obscured by the ‘Thank you…’ message. I have played further, and have discovered that I can click on it successfully, and on the ‘Save’ button in your Add Household page by carefully clicking on the very top border of the button!
10th October 2017 at 7:35 am #3831Andy MoyleKeymasterIt’s not a Church Admin plugin issue from what I can see then – I’ve tested it on a few installs including upgrading from WordPress and can’t replicate. Have you updated any other plugins/themes? You’ll need to deactivate one by one and see which one is breaking it.
Are there any messages at the top of the screen? At a guess, the most likely answer is a plugin’s dismissible message that appears again is not closed properly12th October 2017 at 11:16 am #3833AllenMemberFixed OK in Church Admin Plugin v1.1600
