Directory with more control

We have some church members who like the idea of the directory online, but want more control over what is shown. We need to have their email address on file, as well as some cell phone numbers, but they do not want that information on the directory. Is there a way to disclude this information on some members? Perhaps in the future maybe we can add a tick mark beside the items that are ok to put into the directory? ?
