Cannot create new event by clicking on date on calendar

Minor inconvenience, so not urgent.

It used to be possible to create an event by clicking in the relevant date when displaying the calendar. This doesn’t seem to be working now. I can obviously still create events by clicking the “add event” button, so it’s not a real problem, but the screen does say, “Click on an event to edit it, or a day to add an event”
