    Hi Andy! I opened the WP Church app today and got the following error:

    Alert
    Your church site needs an SSL certificate https for this app to work.

    We have been using the app for some time now with no problems, so I am uncertain why the error is coming up all the sudden. It might help to know that on our web site we use https but we have done so for a while now with no problems from the app. What do I need to do to fix this?

    Hi Rick,

    Apple recently enforced a new policy only allow apps to download from SSL certs. So I put a supposedly helpful warning if you were using non SSL on your device for both Android and iOS.
    Then I took it off as it was a pain!

    So either…
    i) Update the app on your phone to clear the issue
    ii) or log out of the church on the app and log back in – it doesn’t automatically pick up a site has changed from non SSL to SSL. At the moment you have to log out to do that and then log back in.
