Yes something has changed to protect privacy – only people with the specified member_type_id or Directory permissions will be able to view it.
I’m guessing that person isn’t a number 7!
We have 2 members types member_type_id=”7″ are members and SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE THE DIRECTORY. And have in the past. member_type_id=”8″ are non members.
So where do I now set permissions please? I’d like it so that all members i.e. “7” can view the directory and edit themselves only.
Hello.
I have a similar issue where the site has started giving the message ‘Your login does not permit viewing the address list’ which is giving to all members including admins.
It had worked fine for several years before this.
Since the issue stated last week, I yesterday updated the plugin to the latest version. But i am still getting the same message. (I can log into the data fine through the back end).
Hi Roger,
I’ve just tested the latest version of the plugin with just a simple ‘members’ login and it’s working ok for me. I had the same error as you initially until Andy fixed it at the end of February.
Might be worth clearing any cache / cookies etc?
Blessings,
Rich.
