I am using this plugin for a church that affirms transgender and non-binary members. As such, we were wondering if we could get a workaround, either to have additional gender options for non-binary, agender, and an option to leave gender blank, or else some type of work-around that would allow us to create a custom field for gender. Would this be possible?
I’d even be willing to install it myself if you could give me the code and tell me what files it goes in.
It won’t be a menu’d option to change genders, but it is possible. From the next update so v2.5860
As an admin level user, browse to YOURDOMAIN/wp-admin/admin.php?page=church_admin%2Findex.php&action=gender-update&genders=#
Replace with # a comma separated list. Out of the box the order needs to be Female,Male and then whatever. If you change the order, it will mess up people already in the directory.
