    hi –

very excited to try this plugin. :)

when i went to “activate it” i received the following error:

Warning: fopen(/var/www/vhosts/imilive.org/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/church-admin/cache/sg.pdf) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /var/www/vhosts/imilive.org/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/church-admin/includes/fpdf.php on line 1046
FPDF error: Unable to create output file: /var/www/vhosts/imilive.org/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/church-admin/cache/sg.pdf

    any ideas?

The plugin is trying to write some initial pdf files to it’s own cache directory and sadly either the cache directory doesn’t exist or the permissions are wrong.
It should have created the directory, when it installed, but one or two people have had the same problem.

If you have an ftp program, please have a look to see if the directory /var/www/vhosts/imilive.org/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/church-admin/cache/ exists. If it does, please give it the permissions 755 and it will work. If it doesn’t, please create it. If that doesn’t make sense – get in touch via the contact form and I’ll do it for you!

    I get this error:
Warning: fopen(/home2/south/public_html/wp-content/plugins/church-admin/cache/year_planner_2011.pdf) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home2/south/public_html/wp-content/plugins/church-admin/includes/fpdf.php on line 1046
FPDF error: Unable to create output file: /home2/south/public_html/wp-content/plugins/church-admin/cache/year_planner_2011.pdf

I changed the permissions as reccomended above, but it didn’t help.

On my ftp program you can make the file permission on a directory apply to subdirectories and files to. Please try that.

Then try 775 or 777 which are progressively more open.

Could you post the web address so I can have alook in that directory too please!

The website is: http://www.southsidebreakthrough.com. I am using the latest version of WP with a Weaver template.

I had the site on a different host that got hacked and went out of business. I switched to my current host and am trying to rebuild my church site. So far this is the only problem I’ve had. Any help would be appreciated.

Got it!! I just kept changing permissions until it worked.

Thanks for your help. Awesome plug-in.
