First of all, this is a great plug-in! Thanks for taking the time you have put into it. I have been looking for something like this to track both visitors and members. Here are a couple things I would love to see as you continue to build on this plugin.
1) Add a Ministry category so I can track who is serving in various ministries. I would love it if I could add multiple ministries to a person.
2) Search or display the directory based on category. For example, search/display everyone involved in “children’s ministry”
3) I would love a short code to display Visitors info on a page. Also a short code to display Attendance. I would love my leadership to have access to this without going into the admin.
4) Also, would love to be able to display attendance graph based on week as well as month.
5) and one more thing: since the directory could get pretty big, it would be nice to be able to sort it alphabetically so the page wouldn’t display the whole congregation.
Just some thoughts. Thanks again for your time! This is a great resource.
Thanks for the thoughts. I am working on a new version that changes the way people are stored. So a family would be made up of a group of individuals, each of which can have a ministry role (or not!). That will mean a lot of your requests suddenly become possible!
Hang with it – it’s still getting programmed and then we will get a few folks to beta test it before it goes public!
