I just added this plugin and tested it out by adding two families/households. I put in this shortcode:
[church_admin type=address-list member_type_id=1 map=1 photo=1] to my Wordpress page, but in the main text area of the website, it turns out blank. All I get is the search bar and the link for the pdf version. When I click on the pdf link, it only gives me the header information but no names/addresses either. Am I missing something? I tried different versions of the shortcode like , but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you are getting the pdf link then you have used the right short code. It's most likely that you haven't set the member type for the households, or a using the wrong member_type_id
The member_type_id's in use are shown when you click the shortcodes button top right of the main church admin screen
Hope that helps

At the top of the main screen is a shortcodes button, if you click it there'll be a list of all the member_type_id's you are using.
Then use
[church_admin type="address-list" member_type_id=1,2,3]
Replacing 1,2,3 with your list of ids - the # needs to be replaced by something!
There are other options on the list too.

A household is a family unit at the same address.
Clicking "add person" button in the register shortcode or back end Add household will keep adding people to the same household until you click "Save", after filling in the address.

Yep that's right. So I've worked that out. However when I use the registration page, hit save. Reload it and fill it in again it keeps creating in the same family instead of creating a new family. I also noticed if I added some users from the registration page, I couldn't see them from my directory page I've set up. Adding families is fine through word press and showing in the directory. Is that the preferred method?
Sounds like a bug, will have a look.
[EDIT] - just tested again and it's fine for me. Can you email me your db backup so I can see what is happening(top of the Church admin menu page - refresh it then download it)
